Spiritually responding to the terror of the last few weeks

In a blog post entitled "Soul Sickness and Domestic Terror, " Jay Emerson Johnson writes in response to the recent acts of domestic terror, including the mass murder in the gudwara and the burning of the mosque.  He identifies a cultural soul sickness rooted in collective post-traumatic stress disorder and the refusal/inability to speak the truth.  "There is a balm in Gilead," he offers.
